Liquid Level Sensors
BinMaster offers an extensive lineup of ultrasonic level sensors - all of which are extremely accurate to 0.25% of the detected range. The loop powered models offer easy wiring and setup, along with Class 1, Div 2 approvals. Modbus-enabled sensors are perfect for any operation using the Modbus protocol, plus they are easily integrated into remote tank monitoring via the Internet using BinView. BinMaster offers these non-contact, liquid level sensors for compact tanks with measuring ranges from 4 inches up to 50 feet and a variety of hazardous location approvals to meet the demands of the oil and gas and chemical processing industries. The most popular application of ultrasonic level sensors is measuring the level or volume of a body of liquid in a tank, well, pit, or lake. If the vessel is linear, then estimating volume is easy. In non-linear vessels, a strapping table can be used to adjust the reading to a volume as level rises and falls. Another great application for ultrasonic sensors is open channel flow monitoring used in water treatment plants, in environmental monitoring, and in irrigation canals. /Asset/BinMaster LPU-2127 Loop Powered Ultrasonic Sensor.jpgPressure Transducers
Pressure transmitters are used in both process and storage environments. The PT-400 is for external mounting on the tank and is designed for extreme environments. This heavy-duty pressure transducer can handle dirt and fine dust, water spray and wash downs, outdoor installation in inclement weather, hazardous locations and high vibration. The PT-400 is appropriate for the demanding conditions and hazardous classified areas of the oil and gas industry. The PT-500 submersible pressure sensor can be used in just about any liquid. Common, yet nasty, applications include wastewater lift stations and leachate tanks at landfills. The PT-L amplified output pressure sensors are designed for industrial applications in pressure ranges up to 40,000 psi, and are suitable for both liquids and gasses. They provide accurate measurement and a long life expectancy at a low cost. /Asset/BinMaster PT500 Hazloc Submersible Pressure Sensor.jpgMagnetostrictive Sensors
BinMaster's magnetostrictive level sensors are continuous float level transmitters used in a wide variety of liquids. Rigorous applications requiring a heavy duty sensor with a simple setup and long lifespan are an ideal fit for the MPX. These sensors feature Class 1, Div 1 hazardous location certifications crucial in the oil and gas industry. They are also used in chemical tanks, wastewater lift stations, and process tanks with reliable results. The MPX is rugged enough for mud tanks on drilling platforms where there is violent turbulence inside the tanks - with no bent probes or stuck floats. If you need to measure the oil and water interface level inside production tanks, this sensor design allows you to monitor both the top level and the interface level with a single sensor. /Asset/BinMaster MPX-R Magnetostrictive Level Sensor for Harsh Environments.jpgMagnetic Float Level Sensor
The FLE magnetic level switch is designed to meet the rigorous requirements when measuring in hostile liquid environments including many toxic and corrosive fluids. The FLE float switch offers up to three switch points for increased control and cost savings. You can monitor three different levels with a single sensor and a single mount, instead of using three separate sensors. The FLE features a compact vertical design, unlike suspended float switches that require room to operate. This vertical float switch works along a probe, or stem, for for point level indication dependent upon where the switches are located on the stem.
Every FLE multi-level float switch is custom-made to the user’s specifications, ensuring it works precisely based upon the application requirements. You can specify the type and size of the mount, 304 SS or 316L SS construction, the type of housing, the number of switch points (up to three), the switch point locations, the float type, and probe length (up to 24 inches). Its rugged, made-in-the-USA construction ensures long switch life in tough environments and reliable precision for accurate inventory monitoring.
Features:
• Three switch points for increased control and cost savings
• Compact vertical design requires minimal room to operate
• Custom-made specific to each application
• Rugged design for long switch life in harsh environments
• Made in the USA
Applications:
• Liquid level measurement in hostile environments
• For use in many toxic and corrosive chemicals
• Tanks where up to three switch points are needed
• Situations where vertical space is limited
MND Modbus Network Display
The MND is a local Modbus display that is capable of providing display functions to remote Internet-connected sensors or acting as the Modbus master in an exclusively local application. The MND Modbus display works with up to 10 Modbus sensors as a master, as a slave, or even as a power source. The MND is controlled by three buttons that allow you to cycle through, select options, and input data. The compact display shows volume, level, distance and pressure and has selectable units of measure.
The MND also gives you the ability to alter sensor settings using the Modbus registry and to power a sensor with its batteries. It is compatible with the MNU Modbus-compatible ultrasonic sensor, the MPX-E magnetostrictive sensor, the PT-500 submersible pressure sensor and the PT-400 externally mounted pressure sensor.
Features:
• Displays data for remote Internet-connected sensors or locally
