These quarter turn handles have a locking spring and a directional pointer for valve disc position indication. Bolted notch plates are offered. For resilient seated valves a ten position plate is standard. For high pressure valves an 9 position plate is standard. Both contain on/off stops to prevent over rotation of the valve. Series 4 Manual Gear Operators with Handwheel
(21) For heavy duty on/off and throttling service of 2” - 48” (50mm - 1200mm) valves, the Series 4 is self-lubricated for smooth, trouble-free operation. The rugged, cast iron body with O-ring body seals is weatherproof to IP65. A self-locking worm and worm gear drive holds the valve in the desired position. Features include a readily accessible handwheel, a valve-position indicator and mechanical travel stops which permit field adjustment of valve movement to specific degrees of rotation. Optionally available are chainwheel accessories, padlock kits and 2” square nut versions. (15)The Bray Gear Operator with Chainwheel is used to change valve positioning when the handwheel is not accessible, such as valves positioned high out of reach.

Series 5 Declutchable Gear Operator
(7) Available for 2” - 36” (50mm - 900mm) valves. This valve actuator manual override is excellent for the safe handling of spring return actuators. During pneumatic operation, the worm of the gear unit is disengaged. Should the valve require opening or closing in the event of power loss, manual rotation of the declutch lever will provide a camming action and engage the worm to the segmented worm gear, allowing rotation of the valve using the handwheel. FTG Series Manual Gear Operators

Flow-Tek’s FTG Series Manual Gear Operators were designed to handle the toughest applications and provide years of trouble free service and reliability. The FTG series gear operators feature a ductile iron housing, aluminum bronze gear segment, one piece steel worm gear input shaft with tapered roller bearings on both ends. Adjustable travel stops provide precise adjustment in both open and closed positions. Housings are sealed and weather-proof to fully isolate internal parts from atmospheric conditions.
Additionally all models include a corrosion resistant, high-visibility valve position indicator. All models are self-locking and hold any position. All FTG series operators are drilled and tapped to ISO 5211 mounting dimensions.
Output torque is available in range of 5,310 to 70,000 in-lb (600 to 7,900 Nm)

SRH Series Spring Return (Deadman) Handles

Flow-Tek’s SRH Series Spring Return (Deadman) Handles are manufactured from heavy duty SS components to withstand frequent daily use in refueling, sampling, drains, and other OSHA applications that require positive closure of a manual valve. Each SRH Handle has a locking device as standard to lock the valve in the preferred position. The SRH Handle is available in three sizes that mount directly to the rugged investment cast ISO 5211 mounting pads on compatible Flow-Tek full or standard port industrial ball valves.
All compatible Flow-Tek valves utilize live loaded packing which provides longer periods between packing adjustment and maintenance, reducing the need to remove the SRH handle for valve maintenance.
