Diagonal Plow
(24)For tail protection on reversing belts, specify the Martin® Diagonal Plow. Hung from brackets on both sides of the conveyor, the Martin® Diagonal Plow floats on the belt surface to remove material without needing adjustment.
Features and Benefits:
• The durable 80 Shore A Durometer Nitrile rubber blade provides 1.5 in. (38 mm) of wear in service temperatures to 250°F (121°C) and belt speeds up to 900 fpm (4.6 m/sec).
• Diagonal plow protects pulley in either direction of travel.
• Plow drops into mount brackets on either side of the conveyor.
• Blade floats on belt surface and diverts material away for effective tail pulley protection.
Durt Dozer™ Plow
(11)The Martin® Durt Dozer™ Plow installs on single-direction belts on the conveyor’s return side, just before the belt enters the tail pulley. It sits across the belt at a 45° angle, using its curved blade to remove material from the inside surface of the belt at belt speeds up to 700 fpm (3.5 m/sec).
Features and Benefits:
• Curved plow blade installs at angle across belt to remove material.
• Turn the two-edged blade over to double the service life.
Torsion VPlow
(22)The Martin® Torsion VPlow is mounted with a unique suspension that allows the plow to rise and fall with fluctations in belt tension and travel. This makes it self-adjusting for effective cleaning in all stages of blade wear.
Features and Benefits:
• Can be used on belts with belt speeds up to 900 fpm (46 m/sec).
• Standard Torsion Arms are 10.25 in. (260 mm). Other lengths from 2.5 to 11.37 in. (64 to 289 mm) are available to accommodate applications with clearance limitations.
• Easily Replaceable blade provides 2 in. (50 mm) of wear.
• Blade is available in 80 Shore A Durometer Nitrile rubber or long-wearing 90 Shore A Durometer urethane.
• Arms provide self-adjusting action for effective cleaning in all stages of blade wear.
• Three-point suspension keeps the plow parallel to the belt.
VPlow HD
(11)The Martin® VPlow HD is an economical solution for tail protection in medium to heavy duty applications.
Features and Benefits:
• The sturdy 80 Shore A Durometer Nitrile rubber blade provides a 2-in. (50-mm) wear life at service temperatures to 250°F (121°C) and belt speeds up to 900 fpm (4.6 m/sec). Mounting hardware included.
• Martin® VPlow HD removes material before belt enters the tail pulley.
• For less demanding transfer points vplow applications.
VPlow XHD
(8)The Martin® VPlow XHD floats on the inside surface of a conveyor belt to effectively remove stray material in moderate to heavy-duty applications. The self-adjusting design provides effective cleaning in all states of blade wear.
Features and Benefits:
• Fits belts from 42 to 120 inches (1000-2800 mm) wide with blade coverage of belt width plus 6 inches. It has an operating temperature of -20° to 160°F (-29° to 71°C) and can handle belt speeds over 1000 fpm (5.08 m/sec).
• Three piece bolt together frame for easier installation.
• Easy replacement and the bull nose design provides longer urethane life.
• 1.25 inch thick urethane side blades for longer wear and lower friction provide 3 inches of wear.
• Allow the mounts to be positioned either inside or outside the stringers with rubber shock bushings that isolate the frame from the stringer.
• Half inch thick steel frame for the toughest applications that also provides the ballast for blade tension.
• The plow incorporates a low profile design with an overall height of 8.07 inches.

Tail Sealing Box
(11)To conquer the age-old problem of material spilling off the tail of the conveyor, install the Martin® Tail Sealing Box. Installed on the rear of the chutework, the box uses Martin® ApronSeal™ Skirting and Strip Rubber to create an effective seal to keep material on the conveyor.
Features and Benefits:
• Seal keeps material from sliding off the belt.
• Belt motion deflects tail seal to prevent accumulation at back of box.
• Deflected sealing strip contains rollback without scraping off adhered material.
• Return material to belt through easy-opening Martin® Inspection Door.
• Field-welded on chute wall to ensure precise fit.
