Scotchcast Splicing Kit
Inline splicing kit for shielded or non-shielded cable 1/4" to 5/8" dia. The translucent body is made of strong plastic in molded body halves. Mold body length is 7-3/16". Tongue and groove design provides a firm, solid joint. Simply snap together around the splice and seal the ends. Mix the 2104 Electrical Insulating and Sealing Compound in its Unipak container and pour it into the mold. 2104 Compound is a two part, low viscosity polyurethane for permanent splice protection. This compound flows well - even at low temperatures. It fills mold bodies completely and eliminates voids. Cure time is about 1 hour at 72 deg F and 20 hours at 20 deg F. The Unipak container allows fast mixing of premeasured portions that pour cleanly from the container. No tools or containers are needed. A loosely woven polyester spacer web, bonded to the inside of the mold body, allows even distribution of the compound around the splice. Included in the kit are compound, rubber tape end-sealing strips, and instructions. Excellent moisture seal protects against water entry.
Armor Braid Load Cell 4/6 Conductor Cable

Prevent rodents from eating through load cell cable with this stainless steel armor braid. 4 Conductor 22 gage (AWG) and 6 Conductor 20 gage (AWG) stranded tinned copper. Each conductor is insulated with PVC and has a secondary nylon jacket. Next a Mylar sheath with a min of 35% overlap coverage. Shielding is tinned copper braided shield with 90% min coverage. Jacket is grey polyurethane. Armor braid is stainless steel for rodent and abrasion protection. 22 gage (AWG) resistance is 14.7 ohms per 1,000 ft. 20 gage (AWG) resistance is 10.3 ohms per 1,000 ft.

The best available insulation resistance. The highest quality toughness and abrasion resistance. 4 Conductor and 6 Conductor 20 gage AWG stranded tinned copper. Each conductor is insulated with Teflon which has the highest dielectric constant available. Shielding is tinned copper braid. Outer jacket is polyurethane for the best abrasion resistance. Consequently, the initial installation which requires stripping the jacket to expose the conductors is made more difficult with the tough polyurethane. But the long term benefits of this extremely strong jacket is worth the extra effort in installation. Resistance is 10.3 ohms per 1,000 ft.

Splicing Kit Model KVM
Cable splicing kit contains sufficient materials to make two waterproof cable splices (at one time) of 4 conductor to 4 conductor or 4 conductor to 6 conductor load cell cable up to 5/8" dia. The connection uses a small printed circuit board with solder tabs for terminating the individual conductors. Mold has 4-3/8" length and 1-1/4" dia. Each kit contains material for two connections, 2 mold forms, 2 printed circuit boards, 1 mixing bag with resin and hardener, 5 cleaning pads, 1 roll pvc tape, 1 roll cloth tape, 1 strip emery cloth, 8 cable ties (strain reliefs), 2 strips waterproofing putty.
MS Connector Cables

Used to connect load cells and indicators. Electroscale uses the MS3106A- 14S-6P and MS3101A-14S-6S connector. Make sure you have selected either pins (plugs) or sockets (receptacles). The connectors without flanges have strain relief cable clamps.
PVC Splice Box
Low cost/high performance high impact PVC(non-metallic). Weatherproof gasket cover for wet or corrosive environments indoors or outdoors. 7 position screw clamp terminal block on lid accepts up to No. 10 AWG wire. Cable connectors: (2) watertight nylon compression fittings. 0.69-395 cable diameters. 4" x 4" x 2-1/2" deep. Mounting ears molded into base.
TSK Splicing Kit
View thru quick connect splicing kit is made of durable high impact plastic. NEMA 4 with (2)strain relief connectors. End caps are secured with stainless steel screws and sealed with "O" ring gaskets. Removable end caps allow easy access to the internal circuit board for connecting (6) wires with (2) screw terminal blocks (6)positions each. Shields are connected to (2)separate ground screws. If you prefer solder connections, the wires can be terminated to solder terminals. 6-5/8" length and 2-3/4" dia.
