The MUCM allows you to remotely access, control and manage data from Crop-Protector digital temperature cables, moisture sensor cables, and a weather station with serial communications. It converts serial data from the RS-485 port from the Crop Protector Master-Hub to a Modbus RTU serial network. It offers simple DIN rail mounting and 24 VDC operation and features a front panel LCD display and keypad for easy setup. It comes standard with one isolated RS-232 serial port and one isolated RS-485 serial port.
It allows a Modbus serial master to directly connect to it to gather data from digital temperature cables, moisture sensor cables, and a weather station with Modbus RTU serial communications. The data from the MUCM are used to monitor the condition of stored grains in bins and silos to prevent spoilage, insect infestation, or over drying.
