78SA Tee (Compression x Female Pipe)
Brass Self-Aligning Compression Fittings
Features:
• Sleeve and nut permanently attached
• Sleeve is visible after installation, helping to eliminate misaligned sleeves
• Two piece construction – nut and body
• Use with copper, brass, aluminum, or plastic tubing (plastic requires insert 61P)
• –65° to +250° F. temperature range
• Quicker assembly than flare or regular compression
• Better vibration resistance than regular compression fittings
• Can be used anywhere a regular compression fitting is used, especially when installation may be difficult
To Assemble:
1. Cut smooth, square end on tubing
2. Slide nut over tube, threads facing end
3. Insert tube into fitting
4. Thread nut onto fitting until snug, then one more turn
