Transport™ OCU

The Transport™ OCU is a lightweight and durable operator control unit that works with the Transport CC, Transport TC, and Transport QC locomotive remote control systems. The OCU features two-way digital communication. The impact-resistant enclosure has functional LEDs and text display, allowing the operator to monitor critical status information.

The OCU offers GPS position tracking through the internal archive record. Performance and diagnostics are downloaded through a Bluetooth connection, as are firmware and configuration parameters. The OCU pairs with the LCU using infrared and the OCU goes through a safety check during the power-up process. It offers tilt detection to identify when the controller is tilted beyond a predefined threshold and the battery charger is designed to charge the lithium-ion battery rapidly.
