Simple Solution to Animal Weighing
The Farm Bar digital animal scales are heavy duty electronic load cell weigh scales, available in three capacities, and cover a variety of weighing applications. They mount under most cattle squeeze chutes, hogcrates, feed hoppers or custom platforms.

All Weather Use
The all-steel construction of the scale has been proven over 30 years of field use. Load cells are coated for permanent outdoor installation. There are no moving parts to wear out, and no costly maintenance. All of the scales provide years of trouble-free service.

Easy Read Indicator
The Model IQplus 390 Digital Indicator features a large LCD display that’s easy to read even in direct sunlight. The weight is displayed in lb or kg. at the push of a button. It operates on multiple power sources. A computer output is standard, allowing you to transfer animal weights to a PC or printer.

Quick, Accurate Weights
Farm Bars provide a solid scale base by eliminating platform movement which could frighten livestock. This, in combination with the lock-on feature, guarantees an exact reading regardless of how lively the animal is.

Factory Calibration
Calibrating and balancing at the factory eliminates installation errors and the need for an installation technician. Install the
scale, press the Zero button, and you’re ready to weigh. This also allows you to compensate for debris and mud or snow buildup. Rice Lake’s load cells—the heart of every system—are constructed of rugged steel with precision bearing components balanced and calibrated at the factory for years of worry-free
performance. Each Farm Bar has built-in horizontal checking and unique flex bases to ensure accurate weights in the roughest conditions.

The Mobile Group Animal scale’s patented design consists of a deck and pen sides, suspended on load cells at four points within a portable base frame. When in transport mode, the cage is “locked-down” to the frame. This prevents cage movement and load cell damage during transport.

The scale employs an independent air ride suspension which allows it to be moved in and out of weighing mode by simply adjusting the air pressure in the air bags. Load is applied to and or removed, from the cells through a manual lift/lower lever system.

Rice Lake's OnBoard weighing design is ideally suited to the unpredictable conditions of multi-site use. The Mobile Group Animal Scale is capable of providing Legal-for-Trade weights in locations where the scale may be off-level by as much as four degrees. In addition to the scale’s ability to meet the physical demands of remote weighing, the instrumentation package that complements the scale provides a complete report for each batch and lot of animals weighed.

When the scale is in weigh-mode the deck is only six inches off the ground. The low profile of the weighing platform makes loading and unloading animals quick, easy and safe.

The Mobile Group Animal Scale includes transport wheels, lift system, and folding hitch. Optional pen siding is available to enclose the bottom three feet of pen. Enclosing this area improves animal handling and safety. Optional brakes, lighting package, air pump and instrumentation are also available depending on your individual needs. Various sizes and capacities are available to meet your specific weighing requirements.

The SLV offers the features of a RoughDeck floor scale modified to meet the demands of livestock weighing. The AG packs the performance of a SURVIVOR into a mid-size, mid-duty frame. The SURVIVOR AG comes complete with load cells, mounts, and a fabricated weighbridge for a concrete platform that offers top access to load cells.

Rice Lake’s dual-power 590-AG Livestock Digital Weight Indicator is the ideal Legal for Trade indicator for the ranch or farm, programmed for the specific needs of animal handling. The multi-animal tracking software allows users to weigh animals individually or in groups. Add a printer and the 590 AG will also keep track of shrink, head count and total herd weight.

The 590-AG can be used in Legal for Trade weighing systems in both the United States and Canada. This indicator is especially well suited to the MAS-LC and MAS-LM stationary group scales. The easy-to-read LCD display with one inch digits can be seen from long distances. Three-stage RATTLETRAP® digital filtering with selectable integration rate ensures stable weights even while animals are moving on the scale.

The 590-AG housing is built for tough environments, constructed of durable stainless steel and rated NEMA4X/IP66 for top performance indoors and out. Operable using either an AC adapter or C-cell batteries with a battery life of over 300 hours, the 590-AG will operate weeks or months between battery changes. Battery life is extended by use of the configurable stand-by mode that automatically turns the indicator off when it is not being used.
