AMI's Air Movement Units are designed and manufactured to be within special limits specified for the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry. These units are available in any housing and locking style combination including expansion and non-expansion pillow blocks. For applications with higher temperatures, we also offer air movement solutions up to 450 °F.

Free Spinning Bearings
AMI’s Free Spinning Bearings are designed to excel in critical applications like pulp and paper converting, printing, and packaging. Precise raceway curvatures combined with superb surface finishes help provide a low coefficient of friction. To further reduce the rotational torque or drag, these bearings are lubricated with a low viscosity oil, or light consistency grease. High Temperature Bearing Units
AMI's High Temperature Units are specifically designed to operate in temperatures up to 450 °F. The combination of heat stabilization, greater internal clearance, advanced silicone seals, specially selected high temperature lubricants, and zinc anodized slingers are what make these units the perfect solution that can endure operating at elevated temperatures. Available in C4HR5 (up to 400 °F) and C4HR23 (up to 450 °F).

Shur-Seal Bearings Protection System
AMI's Shur-Seal Bearing Protection System consists of a three part system that seals out contaminants and seals in lubricants. This unique configuration stands up to repeated high-pressure wash down and the steady stream of dry particle contaminants that surround mounted bearings in many of today’s plant environments.
