Silo Anti-Overfill System
(32)The Silo Anti-Overfill System works with an existing bin level indicator that monitors material level and signals when silo is full. When the silo is full an overfill light and horn are activated and pinch valves shut lines down after a preset time. The costs of overfilling silos are lost production time, damaged equipment and significant air pollution. The Silo Anti-Overfill System will help avoid serious injury and damage to your silo.
The Anti-Overfill System consists of a pinch valve, control panel with timer, warning light, horn, solenoid valve, preset regulator, gaskets, mating flanges, and bolts. *Available for both 4” and 5” fill lines. **Does not include high level indicator

Features:
• Broken filters create maintenance disasters and can cause citations to be issued.
• Broken filter sensor uses microwave technology to detect damages and possible dangerous situations. /Asset/C&W Broken Filter Media Sensor Image.jpg
Silo Saver Pressure Sensor
(3)C & W's Silo Saver System combines their Silo Anti-Overfill System, Pressure Sensor and Broken Media Filter Sensor to give the highest level of protection available to your silos and dust collectors. Using advanced automated technologies can not only eliminate the human errors that occasionally occur, but can save time and money. The key component to having a protection system is the use of pinch valves that are activated to close when a problem is detected. This shuts off the flow of materials to avoid damage and accidents from occurring, while not interfering with the flow of normal operations. Without pinch valves (warning systems) are available. /Asset/CW_High_Pressure_Sensors.jpg
VM Pinch Valves
(12)
VM-type Pinch Valves are used for intercepting material flow in pneumatic conveying systems or other pipelines and can be installed as a locking device for silo filling pipes. In the open position, the internal cross section of the valve is identical with the connecting pipe diameter. By introducing compressed air or, especially with small valves, water under pressure through the threaded bore into the interior of the valve, the internal flexible sleeve is reshaped in such a way that the passage is hermetically sealed. VM Pinch Valves equally handle pneumatically conveyed powders, granules, fibers, dense mixtures and liquids.
Technical Features:
• Compact overall dimensions
• Easy and quick sleeve and bush replacement
• Full bore-through passage without any pressure loss
• No product contact with the body
• Valve body in aluminum alloy
• Sleeves in fabric-reinforced material
• Sleeve support bushes either in aluminum alloy, hardened carbon steel, or 304/316 stainless steel
• Maximum working pressure: 3.5 bar (52 psi)
• Maximum inflation pressure: 6.0 bar (90 psi)
• Recommended maximum differential pressure: 2.5 bar (37 psi)
BMRX Standard Rotary Level Indicator
(7)
The BRMX rotary paddle bin level indicator provides reliable point level detection and measurement of dry bulk solids in bins, tanks, silos, hoppers and conveyors for materials including grain, feed, plastic pellets, cement and aggregates. Mounted on the top or side of a bin, the BinMaster BMRX alerts operators when bins are full without the rigors and risks associated with climbing and continuously checking bins levels. When material is not in contact with the paddle, the paddle rotates freely. When the paddle comes into contact with dry bulk material, the paddle stops rotating and sends a signal – normally through the use of a horn or light – to alert that the bin is full.
The BinMaster BMRX features “de-energized” operation of the motor which shuts the motor down when materials is present, versus competitive rotaries which put the motor in a "stalled" condition. Power is not consumed until the bin is emptied and the drive shaft again begins to rotate – which saves on energy costs and prolongs motor life. It offers a fail-safe alert providing notification when power to the unit is lost. The BMRX rotary design includes a screw-top enclosure for easy access to motorized parts. It is CE approved and is appropriate for use in hazardous conditions when explosion proof protection is needed – featuring Class I, Groups C and D, Class II E, F, and G listings.
