A Versatile and Durable Chemically Rated Solution

VIBCO's Model CE electric motor vibrators are chemically rated and are for applications where only a small shake is necessary, but big vibrator reliability is a must. Great for activating small hoppers, screens, chutes, tables, filling machines etc. Controlled flow is obtained on all types of materials including powders, flakes, pills, bottle caps and jars etc. Speed and force can be adjusted on most models with simple rheostats or speed controllers. Completely noiseless operation (no more sound than a fan motor) makes these vibrators desirable in applications where noise is irritating or fatiguing for the employee. Most units available in 230 volt, 50 or 60 cycles. Rugged construction permits continuous operation or repeated start and stop operation in any position. SPR-40HD, 60HD 80HD and the SPRT60HD 80HD and CE are heavy duty units with oversized bearing and cast iron bell, instead of aluminum, for extra long life.

This electric vibrator / explosion proof vibrator is engineered for hazardous locations, including exposure to explosive dust.

Promoting the flow of material requires overcoming the cohesive strength of the material and the friction between the material and bin wall within the cone section of the vessel. These electric vibrators are specifically designed to do this efficiently and within a hazardous electrical location.

This industrial vibrator provides a force output of 1,000lbs and operates at 1750rpm. It can be operated with either 230V or 460V 3-phase power. Along with the Class II, Division 1 & 2 UL approval these specifications allow the electric vibrator to be used to promote and reestablish material flow in bins with dry and moist bulk materials.

Rotary electric vibrators use an electric motor to turn shaft mounted eccentric weights to produce rotary vibration. The heavier the weights and the faster they turn, the greater the centrifugal force produced. Electric vibrators are much more quiet and efficient than pneumatic or hydraulic rotary vibrators. Global QT and DEG Series electric vibrators are available in 2 pole (3600 RPM) and 4 pole (1800 RPM) and in various voltages for single and three-phase AC current.

When harnessed by proper mounting of the electric vibrator, rotary vibration is transferred through the hopper or bin wall to the material within. As the material vibrates it is displaced from the hopper wall reducing friction and allowing gravity to restore material flow. Proper mounting also disperses the rotary vibration over a large area producing uniform material flow. Since rotary vibration is directional, material will be encouraged to flow in the direction of the rotating weights.

Applications:

• Quiet Thunder® electric rotary vibrators produce vibration of low to medium frequency and a wide range of forces up to 5,000 pounds of centrifugal force. This makes them well suited for moving a wide variety of fine to coarse mesh materials in all sizes of bins and hoppers.

VlBCO’s Model US High Frequency line are 115 volt single phase motors with low amperage draw. They can be plugged into any light outlet or operated from field generators. All units are speed adjustable with rheostat or electronic speed controls. US-900 and 1600 have adjustable eccentrics. The US line is, due to the high frequency, rated for intermittent operation. 230 volt available on most models. Consult factory.
