G400 Series High Temperature Air Blaster
(4)
Global Air Blasters are blast aerators consisting of a compressed air reservoir with a quick opening valve that releases the stored air in a sudden, high-energy blast. This blast is directed through a discharge pipe to aerate and dislodge material, and restore flow.
In a direct blast Air Blaster the air in the reservoir or tank passes directly into the discharge pipe without bends or obstructions in the air course that impede the flow of air. This is important because the quicker the air discharges, the greater the velocity and force of the blast and, therefore, the greater the amount of material affected.
When used in combination, multiple Air Blasters can restore flow to hundreds, thousands, or millions of cubic feet of material. Air Blasters are activated manually or by a micro-controller based sequencing timer that controls the firing time interval and sequence of one or more Air Blasters.
Air Blasters are an easy way to solve bulk flow problems in silos, hoppers, chutes, and storage piles. Use Air Blasters where vibration is not -practical, other methods are too expensive, dangerous or destructive, or nothing else works.
G400 Air Blasters are commonly used when it is not practical to physically shake stuck material loose and temperatures are too high for standard Air Blasters. For instance, cement kiln pre-heaters and steel mill lines are impossible to vibrate, but are common locations of bulk material flow problems.

They are commonly used when it is not practical to physically shake stuck material loose. For instance, large concrete bunkers and storage piles on the ground are impossible to vibrate, but are common locations of bulk material flow problems.
Air Blasters are recommended for a wide range of material clogs and jams, in hoppers of any size, and are well suited for large structures of any type. They are effective for very cohesive, difficult materials. For instance, wood chips are very difficult to dislodge by other means, but respond very well to the quick-release Air Blaster.

Hurricane Air Cannon
(3)
Martin® Hurricane Air Cannon / Air Blaster Systems improve the flow of bulk materials and prevent outages due to discharge blockages, buildups and ratholes. The Hurricane features a new valve concept that provides more force, uses less air and simplifies installation and maintenance.
Features and Benefits:
• Maximum discharge strength from high velocity output with half the air volume, for highly effective discharge and reduced operating costs.
• Designed for simple maintenance. The complete valve assembly can be removed in one easy step, working from one side of the tank. It can be replaced within minutes to keep your process running. There is no need to ever remove the tank from the vessel for service.
• Fits in smaller places. More power from less air allows use of smaller air reservoir.
• Fires in response to a positive surge of air sent by a solenoid valve, eliminating the risk of an accidental discharge.
• Positive-acting valve allows control solenoid to be positioned as far as 200 feet (60 m) from the tank, keeping solenoids away from harsh conditions and difficult service.
Options:
• Fan Jet Nozzle and High Temperature Nozzle are both available.

Multi Valve Air Cannon
Using a single air tank with up to five independent valves, the Martin® Multi Valve Air Cannon / Air Blaster improves flow at five discharge points.
Features and Benefits:
• Five independent valves housed within a single 60-gallon tank allow for five application points sourced from a single reservoir.
• Has the ability to fire more than one valve at once.
• No need to hang air tanks high on vessel walls. Air is carried from the central reservoir through flex hoses or steel pipe to the discharge point.
• Centralized location removes working components from exposure to high temperatures and process dust.
• Even if one valve requires service, the multiple-valve system continues to function in nearly all cases.
Application Guidelines:
• For use wherever traditional single-valve/tank assemblies are installed.
• Provides flexibility ideal for hard-to-reach applications and where space is limited.

Tornado Air Cannon
The Martin® Tornado Air Cannon produces better material flow with greater force, faster cycling, and improved safety. The Martin® Tornado Air Cannon fires when the exhaust valve opens in response to a positive surge of air sent by a tripped solenoid valve.
Features and Benefits:
• High-velocity discharge of compressed air improves material movement.
• Positive-acting valve amplifies discharge force, for 20% more power from the same size air cannon.
• Suitable for high-temperature applications such as cement kiln pre-heater towers and coolers.
• Positive action means air cannon will not fire when source pressure is removed.
• Positive action allows solenoids to be mounted 200 feet (60.96 m) or more from the air cannon.
Options:
• Available in three valve sizes and ten tank sizes.
• Retrofit valve is also available.
• Fan Jet Nozzle and High Temperature Nozzle are both available.
Typhoon Air Cannon
(3)
The Martin® Typhoon Air Cannon features a hybrid valve concept that provides more force, uses less air and simplifies maintenance in challenging applications with limited budgets.
Features and Benefits:
• Provides more force output with less air consumption than a traditional XHV Air Cannon.
• Requires only one air line to fill the tank and trigger the valve.
• Air cannon assembly features a rigid steel mount and tolerates some vibration.
• The complete valve assembly can be removed in one easy step and replaced within minutes, working from one side of the tank. There is no need to ever remove the tank from the vessel for service.
• Negative pressure firing provides effective performance in challenging applications with limited budgets.
• Upgrade existing older technology air cannons using normally open solenoids without the need for replumbing the system.
Options:
• Fan Jet Nozzle and High Temperature Nozzles are both available.

Direct Blast Aerator High Temperature Diffuser Nozzles
(2)
Diffuser nozzles direct the air blast produced by an Air Blaster along the structure wall to enhance the removal of material buildups.
Designed for High Temperature Environments - Special stainless steel alloy withstands high temperature corrosion including oxidation, sulphidation, carburization, nitridation, and halogen corrosion. Withstands temperatures encountered in kilns operating in excess of 2,000°F (1,100°C).
Retractable Nozzle
(2)
The Martin® Retractable Nozzle is used for hard to reach locations in cement towers and other high-temp applications. The 360 degree nozzle makes cleaning on the center of the wall possible. Servicable from the outside of the tower/vessel, so no waiting until the next scheduled outage for nozzle assembly replacement. The Martin® Air Cannon / Air Blaster Retractable Nozzle extends service life in preheater towers and high temperature / high dust applications by pulling the discharge inside the vessel.
Features and Benefits:
