VIBCO is the originator of Silent Turbine Vibrator technology and manufactures a complete line of turbine vibrators for industrial and construction use. VIBCO's Silent Turbine Vibrators are an ideal solution. They save air, are more efficient, don't require lubrication, and have virtually silent operation. A turbine vibrator will typically outlast a ball vibrator 3 to 1. With foolproof operation and low noise, Silent Turbine Vibrators have quickly become the specified and standard units for many industries. The FBS Series of vibrator is designed especially as a match-plate vibrator for the foundry industry with fast start, high RPM and force, and low noise due to a built-in muffler.  The match plate vibrators are to be used with intermittent duty only. 
 

GT Series Pneumatic Turbine Vibrators are ideal for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and others involving fine, dry powders that respond well to high frequency vibration. They require no lubrication, and produce less noise than other types of rotary pneumatic vibrators. There are 12 models available, with forces to over 2300 pounds. Some sizes are also available in stainless steel housings.

GT SS Series Stainless Turbine Vibrators feature a totally enclosed stainless steel housing, require no air lubrication, and feature high frequency vibration, low noise output, and lower air consumption than other types of pneumatic roatry vibrators. They are ideal for applications in the food & pharmaceutical industries, or any application involving dry powders that respond well to high frequency vibration. These stainless steel vibrators are suited for food-grade applications, wash-down, and corrosive environments.

All GT SS Vibrators are constructed of stainless steel bodies with hard coated turbine wheels and endplates, and pre-lubricated matched bearings for longer life. 

We offer 3 different models in the GT SS Series, with centrifugal forces from 131 to 803 pounds.

HVT Series Pneumatic Turbine Vibrators feature high frequency vibration, low noise levels, and very efficient operation. The HVT SERIES Aluminum bodies are lightweight, durable, and no lubrication is required, making them very popular in food and pharmaceutical production and packaging facilities. There are three basic sizes available, each with three possible weight configurations for fine-tuning force and frequency outputs. 

Millennium Turbine Sanitary and Stainless Steel Silent Pneumatic Vibrators are ideal for sanitary applications or harsh chemical environments, maintenance free – pre-lubricated for life, quiet – no more noise than an electric motor at 68dB, and threaded exhaust ports allow for maintaining a clean environment. Also available are MHI & MHISS models designed to produce high frequency and maximum forces. Intermittent duty only.

OT-type External Pneumatic Turbine Vibrators combine high frequencies with high centrifugal forces. OT Vibrators are operated oil-free with filtered compressed air. They do not require any maintenance and they are successfully used as flow aids on bins, as drives for chutes or screens, and on vibrating tables. Vibration with the OT-type is generated by a turbine with integrated flyweights rotating on two oversized ball bearings. OT Turbine Vibrators develop high vibration frequencies and centrifugal forces. Vibration presents large amplitude even with low operating pressure. For operation a 2/2-way-valve and filtered compressed air are required. Operating temperature from -4°F to 250°F; oil-free operation; maintenance-free; great acceleration; high centrifugal force; low noise level; low air consumption; standard ATEX II3D certified.

Big Buster PF Pneumatic Vibrators are ideal for the toughest applications. From unloading railcars to moving materials in huge bins and hoppers (over 150,000 lbs.) — there's a VIBCO Big Buster that can do the job.  VIBCO Big Buster PF Vibrators provide high force and low frequency and are designed for continuous duty; lubrication is required. Precise speed control allows "tuning" of the vibrator so you can achieve the best possible results. Big Buster vibrators are available with a clamp-on base for portability and a bolt-on base for permanent mounting.

Turbine vibrators use compressed air to turn an unbalanced turbine wheel producing rotary vibration. The more unbalanced the wheel and the faster it turns the greater the centrifugal force produced. In general, properly designed turbine vibrators are much more quiet and efficient than other types of pneumatic rotary vibrators (i.e. ball or roller vibrators).

Applications:

• Global turbine vibrators are extremely efficient; develop very high RPM and very high frequency vibration. This makes them well suited for moving very fine materials such as dry sand, cement, fine clay, coal by-products, dust, sugar, powder, spices, flour, fine chemicals, and so on.
• Silver Sonic Turbine® vibrators are highly efficient and can operate on just 5 or 10 PSI. This makes them a very practical solution where air resources are limited. Silver Sonic Turbine® are great for food processing, pharmaceutical, and other "clean environment" applications because there is no paint to chip or peel and no oily mist produced, since they require no lubrication.
• It is easy to tune a turbine vibrator to the material being handled. When the frequency of the vibration matches the natural frequency of the material, enhanced flow can be achieved with a minimum of force. This can be achieved by simply increasing the speed gradually (increasing the air flow) until material flow is achieved. This way you obtain the maximum result with the minimum of air consumption and vibrator wear. Once the material moves freely, the vibrator can be turned off until it is needed again.

Operating Requirements:

• Filtered air. No lubrication required.
• 5 PSI. 1-11.5 CFM.
• Maximum Ambient Temperature = 180°F (82°C).

When harnessed by proper mounting of the turbine vibrator, this rotary vibration is transferred through the hopper or bin wall to the material within. As the material vibrates it is displaced from the hopper wall reducing friction and allowing gravity to restore material flow. Proper mounting also disperses the rotary vibration over a large area producing uniform material flow. Since rotary vibration is directional, material will be encouraged to flow in the direction of the rotating turbine wheel.

Turboviber® vibrators operate at relatively high RPM producing high frequency vibration. They also produce large amounts of force. This makes them well suited for compacting or unloading large quantities of fine materials, such as sand or cement, from railcars, batch hoppers, or storage bins. Excellent for use with wet fine material. The high frequency excites the fine particles and the high force moves the large mass

These same properties make Turboviber® vibrators highly useful for consolidating concrete. It takes this unique combination of frequency and force to remove air bubbles, disperse the large aggregates, and ensure the cement fines are evenly distributed to coat the aggregates. Proper use of vibration means less water is needed, which produces stronger concrete. Air bubble removal and even cement-aggregate distribution produces a smoother finish. Turboviber® vibrators make pouring concrete quicker and easier without harming the forms. They are commonly found on battery molds, compaction tables, tilt tables, and a large variety of forms and molds for girders, tees, columns, culverts, vaults, containers, septic tanks, concrete pipe, etc.

VSP-510 is a silent unit for concrete burial vaults as well as other applications where the vibrator is moved from form to form or bin to bin.  They meet OSHA standards for being completely noiseless, are long-lasting, and never need lubrication.
