Aerators are used for aerating bulk materials. They allow air to flow into the bin, but prevent cement from flowing back through the air lines. This swivel jet requires clean, dry air.
U025 and U060 Fluidization Nozzle Aerators

U025 and U060 Aeration Nozzles can be easily fitted on bins or silos from outside which makes them particularly suitable for retrofitting or in cases where the inside of a bin cannot be accessed. For sizing, layout and number of nozzles refer to the relevant data sheet.
The plastic insert with the sintered metal nozzle has to be screwed into the steel nipple which has been previously welded on the outside of the bin or silo. Then the connection with the compressed air line has to be carried out.
U025 and U060 Aeration Nozzles are used with fine powdery materials at a working pressure of 3 PSI, while U060 Aeration Nozzles work with a pressure of 14 PSI. Decades of experience with U025 and U060 have shown that virtually all materials can be successfully fluidized at intermittent operation according to Pulse-Jet or Felder System.

U2 Fluidization Nozzle
The Powtek U-2 Fluidization Nozzle is used to aid the flow of product out of bins and silos.
It is fast and easy to install - just drill a hole, weld the bushing and insert the nozzle.
With the Powtek Nozzle installation and maintenance are done from the outside. The operator does not need to go inside the silo.
How it works:
By adding air to the powder inside the silo’s cone the friction between the wall and the product is reduced enhancing a more balanced material discharge.
Since the entire body is made of carbon steel, it can be extracted and applied again as many times as necessary as opposed to other models on the market made of plastic that can only be cleaned once or twice.
The number of nozzles to be used depends on the size of the cone.
Nozzles are usually applied in rows of 3.
The operation cycle can be:
1 -continuous with a constant flow of air at 5 psi
2 -intermittent using higher 10-20 psi air pressure.
In this second case a timer and a solenoid valve are required
Aeration Components

Aeration Nozzles are used to fluidize fine powdery materials like cement, lime, and similar powders. Bin Aeration Pads provide a means of introducing low pressure air into a finely ground dry bulk materials like lime, cement, carbon black, diatomaceous earth, flour, soda ash, gypsum, fly ash, pigments, soap powders, bentonite, bran, clay, cereals, Fuller’s earth, detergents, etc. that have become compacted due to settling in order to restore the material's natural ability to flow. Vibrating Silo and Bin Aerators combine aeration with slight vibration on the silo or bin wall and are used for the improvement of mass flow with powders and granular materials like fly ash, cement, flour, lime, sands and salt as well as many other difficult granular or powder bulk solid materials and abrasive materials.
