Brass Inverted Flare Fittings
Features:
• Two piece construction – nut and body
• Use with copper, brass, aluminum, or steel tubing
• –65° to +250° F. temperature range
• Seats and threads are recessed, protecting them
• Shorter overall length, for limited space applications
• Shorter nut allows tubing to be bent closer to fitting
• Fair vibration resistance
• Resists mechanical pullout
• Easy to disassemble, and can be reassembled many times, with no effect on the seal
• Primary uses: liquids, gases, and hydraulic brake systems
To Assemble:
1. Cut smooth, square end on tubing
2. Slide nut on tube—threads facing end
3. Flare end of tube
4. Thread nut onto body until snug, then 1/6th turn
