Low Vibration Transmission
The large counter balanced beams at the base of the F-Screen ensure that very little vibration is transmitted to the base of the screen and surrounding structure. The entire screen is mounted on coil springs which keeps the powerful motion of the F-Screen from being transmitted to the plant. This fully protects the sensitive, surrounding equipment on the plant.

The Symons F-Screen consists of four major parts:
Screening Deck: It is made with rigid box construction and has deck surfaces that feature removable steel frames.
Balance Deck: This consists of heavy steel bars on each side of the screening deck. The feed box is mounted to the bars. It vibrates with the screen and spreads material evenly over the width of the screen.
Steel Channel Base: It is attached to the screening and balance deck by support springs. The springs are made of alloy strips clamped together and set at an angle of 60 degrees to horizontal provide efficient, even stroke.
Shaft Assembly: It is bolted solidly to the balance deck and connected to the screening deck by four drive springs. The shaft assembly imparts powerful rotary eccentric action to the shaft and receives a positive reciprocating action from the screening deck. Very little vibration is transmitted to the base.

Dewatering Screen / Shale Shaker
The SMICO Shale Shaker is a high speed, adjustable angle linear drive screener set up for oil field service. DH2 Vibrating Screener
The SMICO DH2 vibratory screener is a two bearing declined screener which is the standard of the SMICO line. That's because it is highly adaptable and can be designed to suit a large variety of screening and feeding applications. It was previously used for very tough liquid/solids separations and now has been fully engineered to provide an extremely durable unit for aggregates, industrial ingredients and just about any other high volume application requiring reliable screening.
Here's how the DH2 Vibratory Screen works: The top or centroid mounted, brute force drive uses dependable grease lubricated bearings which are sealed on both sides to prevent contamination. The drive can be easily set to provide a uniform circle or elliptical action, long or short stroke and low or high speed to best handle your screening requirements. Isolation springs are provided on a wide flange beam skid base. Drive components and enclosed guards are standard. A four bearing model aggregate separator is also available.

A special configuration can be utilized which allows the V-Screen to become a highly efficient dewatering screener that handles separations from 2 mesh and below. It can be configured with spray bars for washing and either a single or double cone, discharge hopper. The V-Screen Explained:
The V-Screen Rotary Separator quickly accomplishes its work in six extremely efficient steps:
1. Material is introduced via the usual methods at the top onto a vaned distribution plate which rotates and feeds the drum.
2. Centrifugal force created by the smooth rotation of the drum then distributes the feed material evenly along the top of the screen.
3.The feed material is introduced to the screen media at five times the force of gravity and subjected to 1,000 pulsations per minute.
4. The feed material is accurately sized, striking the screen surface up to 50% more often than conventional screening methods.
5. Both overs and unders material are sent to a v-shaped collection hopper under the screen area.
6. Separated material is quickly evacuated on a downward spiral path out the base of the V-Screen Rotary Separator.
